The authentic and powerful speaker’s manifesto

by Elizabeth Van Den Bergh

I am here to share a vision—not to prove my worth.

I lead with purpose, clarity, and conviction. I own who I am, embrace my strengths and flaws, and understand that authenticity is not perfection—it is integrity in action.

My audience takes its cue from me. I bring presence, energy, and curiosity, creating the conditions for others to engage, think boldly, and act with confidence.

I am curious about what matters to my audience. I listen, make a genuine connection, and offer what is useful, relevant, and meaningful.

I draw on my experience to lead and inspire, while staying open to learning and new perspectives.

Executive leadership is not having every answer; it is creating clarity, taking responsibility, and helping others move forward.

I speak with purpose. I make complex ideas clear, connect them to what matters, and leave my audience with practical next steps.

I take up space without taking over. I stand tall without shrinking myself, and make room for others to contribute and lead.

I welcome perspectives that challenge me. I take responsibility for the impact of my words and earn trust through honesty, accountability, and care.

I want my audience to leave with greater clarity, possibility, and confidence—not only in what they can do next, but in how they can lead others forward.
